2 HMs today :). Considering the amount of cloud they were quite high up, wheeling around catching lunch. A joy to see.

Yesterday I noticed the Swifts were getting very vocal. At this time of the year this usually indicates that the young `uns have fledged and are chasing Mum and Dad through the sky trying to get fed. They were at it again today and going by the numbers in sight I would say they've had a good breeding season which is very welcome news. :)

My Swifts arrived early this year and I think they have departed early too. I haven't clapped eyes on one since the beginning of the week. :(

Didn't see any at all this year, only a brief sighting of HMs.

Looks like the Swifts have gone from here. Haven't seen any recently.

Seen quite a few yesterday. Seem to be gathering, ready for the big flight.

Not seen any swallows since last Sunday. Skies sure look empty without them.
