This morning I took a walk around the local country park. I saw plenty of Robins, Crowns, Black head gulls and had the please over a grey heron flying right over my head. Lovely to watch those birds.

Working in my shed , watching 2 squirrels, blackbirds, robin, great tits, blue tits and sparrows all at the feeders cos we have been away on holiday for 10 days, nice to be back though.

I had busy feeders,most of the day Grt Tits Blue Tits 6 greenfinch and all were healthy about 2 dozen sturks and nearly the same with Sparrows .

Ours are slowly coming back after our 10 day holiday. blue tit, great tit, wren, sparrows, dunnock's (pair), wood pigeon, magpie, crow, I did see a pied wagtail on the road outside but to slow with the old camera.

I decided to go for a walk today to try and see some winter thrushes(Redwings etc). I elected to take a tried and tested route which has seldom disappointed in the past. I saw one

(which was a Mistle Thrush I think) and I'm not 100% certain about that. On the bright side I did see within the space of five minutes a Little Grebe(Dabchick), a GSW, a Cormorant and a Buzzard which just about made up for my disappointment about the thrushes.
