Apart from the influx of fledgling Starlings over the last week I have seen very few other fledglings. There have been a couple of Blackbirds and what I think was a Greenfinch and the Jackdaws

Not seen by me but reported in Devon birds yesterday. Three parakeets seen over the way. Just around a few hundred yards from where I live.

They may like the Devon weather and decide to stay. I'm looking forward to your video of them.

I believe great/blue tits had a bad breeding season because of the rain this year (at least that's what I read somewhere) so I don't know if that's something to do with lack of them in my garden. I can't remember when was the last time I saw one in my garden

They rely on the caterpillar boom in the spring, so if that is weather affected their breeding success is limited. We all remember the rainy spring(and summer). I only see the Great and Blues in one and twos and that has not changed.

A very windy and rainy day and I have seen very little wild life. I don't blame them as I could have stayed in bed and missed nothing.
