Not sure if that mother and daughter (KC2) sitting on the branch at the front of the nest?

Been watching Glaslyn intensely the last couple of days waiting for KC3 to take to the air. Hedge needed cut so I started it this morning and guess what? KC3 fledges. :cry2:

Aw no! How typical! :( . That was one of the funniest fledges I've seen, he was flying around for about 9 min, and I think he kept flying because he was a bit unsure how to land, so he kept flying just over the nest, and KC2 and KC4 both had to duck few times

Wet day at loch Arkaig.

I bet KC4 fledges between 11.00 and 13.00. That's when I need to go into town on a few errands. She is already standing at the edge of the nest.:flying:

Vera (JJ8) at Loch Arkaig is doing a lot of 'wing flapping' at the moment.

PS - Captain (JJ7 and youngest) doesn't appear to be on the nest. Is he sitting on the branch behind the nest, the cam itself or has he fledged?

Glaslyn - Only one chick on the nest. Must be KC4 but will she go today?

Loch Arkaig - Think I was confused on Wednesday when it appeared Captain had fledged. Must just have been out of sight from the webcam. All three chicks are on the nest at the moment.
