LM12 has brought a fair amount of nesting material in. Now NC0 is rearranging the furniture.
No sign of LF15. The latest she has been in the last six years was 30 March. Maybe not coming back this year.

Just read the blog. Another female Osprey has dive bombed NC0 a few times today. Happens so quickly staff cannot identify the bird. They are not sure if it is LF15 or another female. Hope they can get a better view to identify the bird.

Male (LM12) and female (?NC0) on the nest. LM12 left the nest, circled round and straight back onto the nest and tried to mate with NC0. Mating looked more successful than earlier clumsy attempts. No news of other female that dive bombed the nest yesterday.

Thank God mating was successful in the end, so many clumsy attempts I was getting worried we won't see any chicks

LM12 just landed on nest with a large partially eaten fish. NC0 immediately relieved him of the fish and flew off with it. She is in for a good feed.

Is this the first breeding season for NC0 peregrine? I'm no expert and I might be wrong but it looked to me few times that she is a bit unsure of what to do and was looking to LM12 for guidance?

Reserve staff say NC0 is a young bird ringed in East Cooper in 2016 or 17. This would make her 3 or 4 years old. After their first migration to Africa they return to this country after 3 or 4 years. Going by that, NC0 is 3 or 4 years old and this is her first return to this country. Things may be a bit clumsy at the moment but I am sure we will see eggs and chicks eventually. Nature is wonderful.

NC0 just arrived back on the nest. She immediately started re-arranging some of the nest material.
