After clearing some of the excess growth from one of my ponds it appears that not all the Tadpoles have grown up and left home. There are still some still waiting for the arrival of some limbs. Leaving it very late.

I never saw any late spawn so I'm assuming late developers.
I have read somewhere that late developers will overwinter in their pond and resume development again in the spring. I shall be watching with interest to see if that happens here.

Not a Tadpole now nor a grown Frog either. The boulders are Pea Gravel
The same Froglet in Mrs JS's hand
Another Froglet. This one was roughly twice as big as the first one.

Are you sure it is a frog jacksparrow. The reason I ask is because I always thought frogs were smooth. That one is warty, just like toads.
