I'm now feeling a bit foolish regarding my gloomy post earlier when I though all my Tadders were deceased. In this mornings warm sunshine there were plenty in evidence. Clearly they were lurking in the depths waiting for better weather.

Aaaanyway, that's good news. Maybe it's the atmospheric pressure which makes them rise and fall :tampoline:

The Tadders are growing despite the apparent lack of food in the newly established pond. I transferred a few to the other pond today.

The Tadders continue to grow. This is just a few of them which I transferred from the pond where they were spawned enjoying the morning sun today .

They continue to grow but the photo does make them look a little bigger than they are.
