Re: FROGS
We have noticed it in previous years but the numbers of single frogs this time makes it more noticeable. We have seen "paired" frogs do it but it makes it very difficult especially if on of the pair is a different size.

Re: FROGS
When spawning starts happening a reduction in frog numbers usually follows. I had a quick count today and there were still over thirty looking to find a mate. Cooler weather is forecast for the weekend so ardours may be cooled.
Re: FROGS
If your frogs have the snow we have had visited upon us then ardours will deffy be cooled.Jacksparrow wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 9:31 pmWhen spawning starts happening a reduction in frog numbers usually follows. No snow for us and the Frogs are still very visible even though the weather has been less than clement.Placido wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 10:25 amIf your frogs have the snow we have had visited upon us then ardours will deffy be cooled.Jacksparrow wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 9:31 pmWhen spawning starts happening a reduction in frog numbers usually follows. Re: FROGS
It now seems that Frog activity has peaked for this season. I have not seen a frog for the last couple of days after a couple of weeks of high activity. You can never be 100% certain they have left the pond as lurking in the depths may also be happening.
