Where it has been allowed to my Pyrowhatsit is similarly bedecked as are my cotoneasters. The Rowan however is very sparse and the Blackbirds are making inroads in the few that survived the ravages of summer drought and followed by deluges.

Suddenly a hawkweed flower has appeared . Perfectly formed and lovely to see.
