I think mine are suffering from the drought. I haven't seen one anywhere near blooming.

Not pushing or anything ........ but today the photographed bud popped into bloom - AND whilst nattering to my next door at a carefully measured distance I noticed that there is one in bloom in her back lawn

NB: The Men come tomorrow to cut the grass which has withered to a height of about 1 centimetre, but they will carefully behead the knotweeds

Ask if they can mow around them. Actually I meant "hawkweed" not "knotweed" - I have knotweed on the brain because this year it is huge and already in high bud
