The mahonia was another of my Mother Nature presents
. Great excuse for not weeding apart from the obvious invaders. One never knows.
It's a beautiful little shrub now and is in full flower for the first time.

At first they look like little catkin buds, with silver hairs and dark red background.

One daffodil burst into flower Tulips are further on than daffodils and a little primrose .
