The first flowers of the year have appeared on my Dog Roses and the Rowan is plastered with blossom to the delight of dozens of bees. The majority of the bees are several different species of Bumbles although there are Honey Bees too. The aroma given off by the rowan blossom is very strong and in my opinion not that pleasant. But it is only for a relatively short time so as long as the bees like it I can put up with it. :)
