One minute I'm enjoying my tea and reading, the next minute I see my garden full of flying ants  :ant: :ant: :ant:
Not an ant person at all, I wasn't sure how to get rid of them without using chemicals which might harm the birds, plus I didn't really want to kill them, so I researched and found a recommendation to sprinkle cinnamon. It worked well, they don't like cinnamon and have moved on

Opened the back door first thing to feed the birds and there was an ant swarm right outside - I mean, right outside. All over the patio just running around.
Thought it might be Flying Ants' Day but there was no sign.
Sprayed with Nippon .

They were waiting for their share of the breakfast marmalade.
