Had a lot of wet dull days lately. But yesterday the sun came out in spells. Last part of my walk and a red admiral fluttering about.

With the weather forecast predicting much colder weather that may be the last sighting for 2020. Red Admirals are always one of the last to go into hibernation.

My first two spots of the year. A peacock and a comma butterfly. Seen this morning in the lovely sunshine.

Well spotted willpar. I'm still waiting for the first of the year which is usually a Brimstone.

Despite the warm sunshine today, no butterflies. Nice one to see JS.

The first Holly Blue of the season appeared in the garden today. A reminder of how the year is passing.

The small white might have been a female Orange Tip they are very easy to mix up.

A mild sunshiny day brought out the butterflies. A Peacock, several Orange Tips and a Holly Blue while I was out in the garden. :)
