Placi, the yellow one went in the opposite direction over the lavender

I know what you mean, Nuthatch. I always find that yellow ones go in the opposite direction .

2 Peacocks (pozzy ident ) !! Flying round each other in a bit of a flutter altogether .

My first orange tip, all alone but seemed v. happy in the sunshine .

Wel into the first week of may and still no SBF. Frankly I'm concerned
A couple of Orange Tips and Large Whites did turn up though

! Frankly, I would be concerned too .
The opposite problem obtains in my garden - the preponderation of SBFs is actively preventing access to Brimstones, Large Whites and assorted types which should be prevalent at this date.
Butterfly Wars have broken out and the tv cameras are here . They refuse to pay royalties .

A good day for Butterflies in the chateau garden today. Orange Tips, Large Whites and Holly Blues in abundance plus a solitary Speckled Wood.

Holly Blue !!! I'd forgotten all about them . Good haul, Jacksparrow .
