This year has been particularly good for Holly Blues so far. It's fair to say I have plenty of ivy and a couple of holly trees in my garden which they like.

I found a Small Copper in the garden today. :) I have some Oxeye Daisies and it was feeding on one of those.

Not seen many these past few days, maybe they don't like the wind. But a small copper is a nice one to see js, good spot.

Bad luck for the Red Admiral, but a good spot. To be honest JS, i am not seeing many butterflies lately.

Same here Willpar. That's why I was pleased to see the RA before it became the blackbird's tea. :(

In the past few weeks i have seen a few marbled whites, a small skipper? and one I don`t know as it may be a moth as it was quite hairy. But that's about it. apart from ones i see most days that are brown and a few that are a very dark brown.

The brown ones are probably Meadow Browns and the very dark ones could be Ringlets.
