A Red Admiral found it's way into my garden today along with a Gatekeeper,assorted Whites and a small blue one which I couldn't ID. :)

A Peacock butterfly suddenly appeared in my lounge this afternoon :butterfly: . It flapped frantically around the light fittings for a few minutes before coming to rest on a lamp shade. Fortunately I was able to catch it at that point so I transferred it to the garage which is cooler and has plenty of places a hibernating Peacock should find inviting. :)
