Intrigued that Jacksparrow's buddleia is in flower. Mine has a way to go yet but it looks like a good year (same goes for the rowan ).
Can't beat a buddleia for attracting colins of all shapes, sizes and colours, and many more species too of course.
Bad luck about the pic but colins just will not co-operate.

today I went on a Butterfly hunt at my local nature reserve. Here are some of the resulting photos.

Went on a little forage myself. Never seen so many red admirals along the hedge. Must have been the blackberry blossom.

Some RAs are migrants from the continent perhaps the recent warm southerly winds delivered you a few.
