I saw a damselfly today (in fact, I think there were two) :faint:.
I've checked out the life-cycle and it could be true, possibly.
Could hardly believe my eyes.

No, Jacksparrow, they appeared to be a pale, pale creamy-yellow.

Three Large Red Damselflies visited today. Here are two of them engaged in egg laying :)

What is not very clear is that during mating the male connects his abdomen just behind the females head.
