I was hacking away at some summer foliage when I heard a sound I usually expect to hear in the spring on one of the first warm days of the year. The unmistakable drone of a Bumblebee :jawdrop:
At first I couldn't see it but finally just caught a glimpse of it disappearing under my holly tree. A Queen White Tailed I think. Definitely a big one. :nod:

This morning was a flying ant launching time. They usually pick a warm sultry day.

A Queen Wasp found it's way into my garage today while house hunting. I showed it the door as I don't want them in there. :shake:
