Yes I read that. I think she has to have a little lie down after that.

So pleased a little order is finally being introduced into Our Forum. Tired of riff-raff just posting volens nolens under whichever Topic seizes their fancy. Keep it up, Forum Police

Saw this harlequin ladybird under a feeder lid this morning:-
I also saw the first small snail of the year on the steps
and a tight wodge of nesting material larger than the size of a golf ball in the larger bird feeding house at the back of the dish of chopped peanuts and sunflower hearts in there. I removed it and put it in the ivy on the fence nearby but I'm now thinking I should have left it there and see what happened. I was thinking it may have had something to do with the squirrels though.
As well as a squirrel, sparrows and a robin have been feeding in there.

Forgot to say that the blackthorn burst into flower 2 days ago
, and today I note that the silver birch buds have burst a leeeetle way to show green.
Real honest signs of Spring, at last.

Walking through a farmers field of rape seed oil, And there running in front of me, but not to fast was a hare. No mistaking the black blotches behind its ears. First hare I have ever seen.

They're not really common in my part of England but I do see them from time to time. Lovely animals.
