The bad guys are the larvae of two types of insects: clothes moths and carpet beetles. Moths can't bite, eat or sting, they just suck nectar.

So stop swatting them !!!!!!!!!!! :hissyfit:

Do you release them in the same place and do you see where they go?

I just wondered if they always flew off in the same direction but maybe they just still lie there in the open trap for a while ... but what if it's chucking it down with rain ... I expect you leave them somewhere sheltered :unsure:

I leave them somewhere sheltered and where the birds can't get! They soon learn where to get a free meal, so you have to be cunning . :)
