Yes, bee keeper came and smoked them into a box and took them away. He has two empty hive. Lost the bees over the winter.

I'm hoping it's just my garden but I seem to have very few bees this year. The Scabious are in bloom which usually means lots of bees of all types but today in the warm sunshine I only saw a couple. :(

It was very noticeable today that there were quite few Queen Bumble Bees on the wing. They were mainly looking for some nectar but I know they start searching for somewhere to hibernate soon.
