Stoats/Weasles

Post by Willpar » Thu Sep 18, 2014 12:54 pm

Hi folks, and welcome to treatsville.I say that on purpose, for the treat in store. Changed direction today and thought I would walk the lanes. Lucky I did and the video shows why.

I think they are stoats. I did look them up and it seems like it, at least to my eyes. But what a treat to get it.

Thanks folks. Glad you all enjoyed it. Could not quite believe my luck. Have seen a stoat in the lane before, but farther along. It crossed the road and went into rabbit burrows looking for lunch. Had to use full zoom as I did not want to chance trying to get closer. They cant half run, I seen the camera had a job to keep focus a few places in the video. Being in the right place at the right time, with a bit of luck thrown in placi. And only a quarter of a mile or so from home.
