My juveniles are still coming in and one adult. They are getting through a heck of a lot of food.

Just for curiosity I weighed the hedgehog food I make up tonight. Came in at 10 3/4 oz. That's quite a bit of food for the little ones. And all being ate.

Two Hogs last night at different times. The cold weather is not deterring them just yet. :hedgehog: :hedgehog:

Mindful of the need to feed my Hogs something other than dried mealworms I invested in a bag of dried food which claimed it was not only for Hogs but good for them too. Rather than doa straight switch I have gone for a 50/50 mix. Thursday morning the bowl was completely empty but I suspect a cat may have supped as well. This morning the bowl was half empty. All the mealworms were gone and most of the dried food was either around the bowl or in it.

I was a little tardy getting the food bowl topped up this evening. 7 o'clock to be precise. My smallest hog was in attendance earlier than that and came up onto my covered patio to see if I'd hidden the goodies elsewhere. :hedgehog: :smack:

May take them a little while to adjust Jacksparrow. Once you know they are eating the biscuits, can start cutting down on the mealworms. Then next season leave the mealworms out altogether.

That is the plan but one worries when they're not eating the food which is crucial at this time of the year.
