It makes all the effort worthwhile when you get to see the recipient of your good works. Well done Placi

I have at last seen the Hedgie that visits my garden. It is normally a visitor after dark but tonight it was ahead of schedule. :hedgehog: :)

I am hoping there isn't a sad post script to last nights sighting as there was a run over Hedgie in the road outside my house this morning. :(

Bad news that a Hedgie was run over but thankfully it wasn't "mine" as it appeared in the garden at 9.30 tonight :)

Bet you were glad to see it, Jacksparrow :). Pity about the other one though.
Although that info begs the question, how many are there around your way ??

Many more than we imagine I think. When I was using a cage to catch a rat last year I caught 2 different Hedgies first of all. :)

Last night I tippexed a hog. Tonight I was sat in the conservatory with the doors open as it is so warm and I thought I'd do as many hogs as I could. I nabbed another one, then heard another hog, but it was last nights. I gave them 5 mins to see if they'd hang around, then shone the torch and saw what I thought was one of them, but it didn't seem to have any tippex but it was down the bottom of the garden, so I wasn't sure.
I went into lounge to tell hubby there was(a tippexed) one outside his window, but on looking, it didn't (are you still with me :) )
It was going round the back of the pots I'd put to one side, so we went round the other side, only to find him here :
