There is a hedgehog resting up in path feeder today. So put some food in there with it to munch on.

Ours is still coming to the feeder , but has started to leave just a little food.

Put out garden cam last night to see if I had a Christmas :hedgehog: One came in three times, so no sign of hibernating yet.

It is that time of year to crunch the numbers. 2016 has been my best year so far in terms of numbers and juveniles. Beat 2013 and that was 23 hedgehogs altogether.
Here we go.

Total number of hedgehogs marked 27.
Total number of adults 18.
Total number of juveniles 9.

Am really over the moon with the amount of juveniles, as I usually get around 3, but not every year.

Also tells me that numbers at least on my patch have gone up, that is Quite a surprise.

All in all a great year for my hedgehog community, and hopefully will keep going forward.

2017 season for me starts on Jan 1st, and ends Dec 31st .
