Saw a hedgie Monday night - between small and medium size - it had left half a peanut in the egg dish :hedgehog:

I have not had a sighting of my Hedgie for nearly a couple of weeks until tonight. Great to know it is still around. :)

Last night at 10 when I drew back the curtains to put my WW1 candles in the window I immediately saw a small medium hedgie trundling across my front lawn.
I think that meant something but can't figure out what

Anyway, it's good to know I have more than one

Had a hedgehog resting up today in the path feeder. I put newspaper on the floor inside that one. Anyways the hedgehog pulled the paper over itself like a blanket. Going out with gieves on last walk, same hedgehog climbing up the steps to get to small plot.

Crikey, that little Gieves is my main man. Going out for last walk @ 2200 hours 30 or so yards from my house is a natural hedge. Gieves went and had a good sniff and when I looked there was a baby hoglet. On closer inspection there were two more making a getaway. Had a quick look with only the lamppost for light, were in good condition and may have been with mum but I never seen her. When I got back home got some kitten biscuits and some other food together and put under some shrubs there. One little hoglet was still there, but no sign of the other two. Will look out for them each night now and take some food up. Just hope the pesky cats don't get the food. But first babes I have seen this season, although not actually in my garden.

Good spot Willpar, or should I say Gieves. Let us hope the hoglets can feed themselves up in the next three months and be ready for hibernation.
