Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs
Some friends of ours who live in the same town as us but not close by have in past years kept a fairly tidy back garden but his years owing to back problems the gardening has fell to the husband rather than his wife. Now, his level of gardening falls well short of what has gone before and when we visited last we were having a laugh about this and they mentioned they had a Hedgehog visiting for the first time since they'd lived there(about 25 years). Anyway they decided to leave some cat food around to see if it was taken. It was. Earlier this week they went out to leave some more food and the Hog turned up with 4 Hoglets. They are delighted to be helping mum out with her brood but are now worrying as to what will happen if they go on holiday next week with no feeding plan in hand. I have told them not to be too concerned as the hogs will find other food.

Wow - great story, Jacksparrow - shame about your friend's back but lovely to see the family of hedgies
Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs
Been preaching this for years 'n' years - Mother Nature abhors an artificially tidy garden. It's unnatural.
Your friend's exciting new experience is testament to that, Jacksparrow.

Hi, jacksparrow. I am using garden path edging, the concrete ones. Just right for the job.
