They thought up a new way nuthatch, but it just don't work like it should. I cant get enough magnification to bring up my street. No problem with google maps that I use quite a bit to find new walks.
Anyways, the good news is that gardencam picked up another tiny one last night. No mark as I marked the one in the video. Another to try and catch. All of a sudden the food quota is going through the roof.

We'll have a whip-round, Willpar .
One would have thought that steps would have been taken to rectify the problem - after all, it's such valuable data for an extremely endangered species.

Very cute I had two waiting for their nightly bowl of chicken/jelly dog food with a sprinkle of mealworms this evening. They seem to like it!!!

It is not locked nuthatch. Bikey seen it.
Well done bikey.
I see on the video this morning that an unmarked juvenile went by "doorcam" last night. Never went into the feeder though. Not that the camera picked up.

Cor blimey, another one.
This confirms now that there are three litters of hedgehehogs in the neighbourhood.
Caught this one hiding under the hedge.
weighed in at 219gr. That is small. Never seen mother around. Gave it a mark, but will have to keep a special eye on it. Put it in a feeder with food, so that it knows where to go to. But there are 6 feeders in the garden so probably would not be difficult to find food.
Turning out to be one heck of a year for juveniles. Most I have had so far.
