Oh, I see. It would have been interesting to compare last year's figures 'cos I'd the impression that there were a lot of hedgies about in 2015 :nod:.

Went out with the cameras tonight, and on the way back I opened the lid of door feeder. Inside was one of the biggest hedgehogs I have seen in a while. Don't know if it has recently came out of hibernation, cause if it had it is a whopper. Weighing in at a huge 1394gr. Even got a video of it.

That's one chubby Hog willpar. If there were Hedgie shows he/she would be a prize winner.
A pregnant sow perhaps or is it a bit early?

Caught another large hedgehog in the garden last night. No mark on it, took it in to weigh and was 1026gr. Put a mark on it and put back out in the garden.

Put my wholesome mix in door feeder last night around 8pm Took camera out at nine, happen to look inside Feeder and all the food was gone. Had to make up another batch. They sure are hungry.
