Nothing like a short cut

.
Looking at a website specific to Echium: Echiumworld.co.uk which just says that multi-purpose compost is fine for this plant. It seems to be quite easy-going once you get it started.

Yes Placi. I want to dig in some of that multi purpose compost into the soil. They sell it over the garage, or even a gro-bag will do. Will have to see what they got.
Edit: Got a gro bag over the garage this morning Sunday. Will dig that in to condition the soil.

Dug in the gro bag this afternoon. Soil is rather dry though.

Gave the plot a few cans of water last night. will do again for a few nights. Once we have some decent rain I can do some planting. And hopefully the wet soil will keep the cats off. Working so far.

Don't get as many as I used to Placi. But still, freshly tilled ground could be a good invitation. And I don't want my plants poisoned.

Have planted the large plant the lady gave me now. Is a lot bigger.
The lower leaves seem to naturally die off the lady told me.
Will put the two blue ones in a bit later, one each side of that one. Plot is just about big enough for three.

Dam Drat placi The pic was up this morning. But I did get a message to say the hosting site is closing down in 2019. Will do a short video.
