Very little sign of frogs now. I think that is the fastest spawning season ever. It had no sooner started but was done and dusted.

I think that is less than I have come to expect but I think there were fewer frogs than last year.

There was a female Blackbird collecting nest material today. She flew off into a neighbour's conifer. :blackbird:

It looks like the peak of the spawning has passed. We have about 6 different blobs of spawn and the number of visible frogs has decreased.

Frogs have started to arrive for spawning. Only a couple at present but if this mild weather continues it will ramp up quickly. :frog: :frog: :love:
