Re: BLACKBIRDS
We've just started feeding them Mealies. At first, they seemed frightened of them. Now they're used to them they can't get enough.

GoldfinchES
The twig by my feeders hasn't attracted too many birds! But here's one I can't resist. The Goldfinch; it's one of our prettier birds.
Re: Grebe

Re: FLEDGLINGS 2015
Just clamped a twig near the feeders to see who comes along! This is a juvenile Blue tit ( or maybe Great tit). It's blue legs seem to stand out! (I don't apply any enhancements to my photos other that Crop and Sharpen ) .

Re: FOXES
A shot of the new cub a couple of nights ago. But we may have yet another! Last night we were watching what looked like a much smaller cub, with different mannerisms and not too concerned about the lights. I may have another late night tonight!

Re: MOTHS
One from last nights trap. This moth is a first for me
It's described as 'when at rest closely resembles a broken Birch twig '.
It's called Buff Tip ( about 30 mm long ).
