Dorcha lying in the nest cup. Looks as if she is incubating. On investigation looks like she laid her first egg yesterday.

Louis and Dorcha both on the nest. Its gae drecht - rain, windy and possible sleet/snow. Both birds look miserable.

Dorcha is spending more and more time on the nest. Are we getting close to egg-laying? Nest at Poole harbour looks like it needs a little more attention. There is a piece of black polytene flapping at one side of the nest. Hope it doesn't put the birds off. Don't think it should - they have been mat...

Louis just brought in a half eaten fish for Dorcha. He gave it up very easily.

Plenty of moss and lichen in the nest cup at Loch Arkaig. Maybe laying is not too far off.

CJ7 on the nest. Just found out she is female. 022 is the male.

Definitely two Ospreys at New Poole Harbour nest. A couple of minutes ago shadows cast on the nest appeared to show the birds mating on a branch above the nest. One flew away and then the other. The second bird flew into view of the camera to confirm they were Ospreys. Not sure if they are 022 and C...
