Not by me, but a swallow was spotted at a place called Folly Gate, That is Okehampton in Devon. Sighting was posted with a pic, on the 15th March. Seen this on Devon birds website. Birdwatchers record their sightings on the website. Good place to go to see what is around. It seems a little early. T...

I saw two Brimstones today in a neighbours garden. I was hoping they would visit me but they flapped off in the other direction. :(

The tadpoles are starting to emerge from their jelly :nod: . Only a few at present but should increase within the next few days.

I saw a butterfly today. I couldn't get an ID. It was dark in colour so was probably a Red Admiral or a Small Tortoiseshell as both hibernate in the winter in their adult form.

This year I have a couple. Of bird feeding stations in the. Back garden with a mix of seed and suet. This year I have also replaced my back garden nest box with one with a wifi camera in. Hopefully if we get visitors again ke we had the nesting blue tits I can share the video across my social media...

Strangely there has been more frog activity this week, so I may be getting some more spawn. There is no sign of the existing spawn giving any tadpoles but it has been cold overnight with some ice on the ponds.
