Just seen this, should have been NOT welcome in the garden, but they do scarper as soon as they see me. Lady across the road that moved in around three years ago has got two of them. Poor pigeon, RIP . Sparrowhawks are never seen in the act, or very very rarely, I assume because they are so fast and hard to detect before its too late.
