Male ducks?

I have visit a number of country parks and lakes over the past week. I have seen many female mallards and young but I haven't seen a single male. Is this common or is there something different?

Good evening all, I am looking for a little bit of advice regarding our rear lawn. We has a good size rear lawn but it is very patchy and almost bald in some places. The rear garden is over looked by three large trees which is great for wildlife but not so good for the grass. Is there any advice to ...

At the moment I have two stations. Both have suet, speed and they small black seeds. I am hopefully going to try to attract more wildlife to our garden.
