Getting a hedgehog house is nest on my list for my garden wildlife. Hopefully going to get a wifi trail camera for the front garden. We did have a coupe of visiting hedgehogs last year.

Morning all, I was sat in my garden this morning with my coffee and I noticed a few little bees landing on my flowers. As I watched them I was them ripping little bits of petals off and flying away with them. Would leaf cutter bees do this as I thought it would be leaves they were after not the peta...

It was indeed.
There were also joined by 14 starlings and 2 jackdaws.

While enjoying my coffee this morning watching the rear garden feeders I saw.

Black bird colour
I was sat watching the bird feeders this morning with a coffee and I saw a blackbird which looks quite a reddish colour? Would this be normal for this time of year. It was certain a black bird ground feeding and the trademark hopping on the grass but looked almost red.

I got have a purple buddleia in one of the corners and have for the past 3 years. Lovely scent to it and beautiful to look at.

Today i came across an app called "seek" it uses you phone or tablet to take a photo of birds, bugs and flowers and will ID them for you and give you information.
Just thought it may interest other members. It is available for Android and ios devices..
