Second egg at Loch Arkaig was laid in the early hours of this morning in nest two. Expect another one by the weekend. There is an Osprey on nest one.

Re: Ospreys

There is an egg at Loch Arkaig. It was laid on Sunday morning and confirmed by staff.

Female at Poole Harbour is sitting low in the nest. Maybe there is an egg here as well.

Two Ospreys on the nest at Loch of the Lowes earlier. Assume they were NCO (female) and LM12 (male), although not confirms by Lowes staff in their blog.

Re: Ospreys

Osprey on the nest at Poole Harbour. Half eaten fish in its talons. This nest is way down on the south coast so it may not be too early for the birds to return. Only started watching this nest midway through last season so the arrival may be normal for this nest. Nothing yet at the other two nests.

Re: WOOD PIGEONS

The record for the number of Wood Pigeons in my garden stood at 10. Last Thursday the record went up to 11. When I did the RSPB bird count on Sunday the count was 0.
