All the feeders busy at the moment. The seed feeders are in constant use by sparrows, starlings and jackdaws. The fat ball feeder has the full attention of the jackdaws.

Overnight Tuesday to Wednesday the rain never stopped at Sparrow Towers. I put my hog food on the covered patio by the my back door. Apart from the influx of fledgling Starlings over the last week I have seen very few other fledglings. There have been a couple of Blackbirds and what I think was a Greenfinch and the Jackdaws

I have two Holly trees and plenty of Ivy which would explain why the Holly Blues were everywhere today enjoying the summery weather.

About this time every year I have a pair of fledgling Jackdaws. The nest is in a chimney about 5 doors away. The parent birds are with me most of the year. This year there are three fledglings and they are pillaging the fat balls. :nod:

I had more fledgling Starlings today but not in any great numbers.
