Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs

I think I now have two hogs visiting. My daughter could hear them when she went out the back of the house about midnight and all the food was eaten.

While out and about this morning, two Red Admirals, a Peacock and a Speckled Wood.
It is surprising what difference a few fine days make.

Re: WHAT I DIDN'T SEE TODAY

What I didn't see today or any other day for some time now is a Collared Dove. Not so long ago there always seemed to be a least a pair hanging around waiting to get on the SFH feeder but I haven't seen one for months. I have not read anything suggesting they were struggling but my own theo...

Re: BIRD FEEDING

The wind today turned out to be a destructive one for me. My 8-port feeder which I've had for at least 10 years broke free from it's supporting cable tie and smashed itself on the ground beneath :weep: . Have never had one in my garden, although have seen them in the general area in the past.
I had noticed that they never appeared in any of your videos.

Re: Feral Pigeons

I had a feral in the garden this afternoon looking as though it was suffering from Trico. Although it was able to fly it didn't move when I walked right by it perched on the bird bath. It hung around for while and disappeared around teatime.
