Great video Bob, am seeing several lately.
Yesterday was all Comma and female Orange Tip for some reason.
The other punctuation marks were staying in the cool perhaps.

Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs

The young hog returned last hight. I had supplied a little cache of Hog food away from the main bowl which it quickly located and dined on. Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs

I was blessed with a visit from a very young hog last night. It snuffled around just like the grown-ups seemingly finding a meal from under the bird's seed feeders.

Re: BUTTERFLIES

We appear to be having a butterfly summer. The recent weather has been kind and there are plenty on the wing. My visitors have been dominated by Large Whites backed up by Gatekeepers, Small Whites, Holly Blues A Common Blue and a Red Admiral.

Interesting to see it was using the spikes on the fence to keep it's prey steady.

It has been very cheering to read of various species having a good year as there have been a few stinkers recently.

Re: Heron

I know a heron has visited my garden because I have seen it. To the best of my knowledge it has never got a meal. I have no fish but do have frogs and newts. The one in the video was visiting before 6 AM , if that were the case in my garden it would never be seen.
