Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs

I still have one hog visiting every night and last night was no different except that it chose to visit while my daughter was on my covered back patio doing physical exercises. Re: WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

A Jackdaw or two are not unusual visitors in my back garden but today I looked out onto my drive and there were four. They were all on the same mission which was gathering nesting material. Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs

I had noticed the hog food I left out was suddenly disappearing and suspected I might be feeding a stray cat but today I found two separate Hog CCs around the garden so I think one has found me again.

Two good butterflies to see JS. Still nothing here yet, but not much sunshine either.
I saw another today which actually flew briefly across my front garden.

Re: WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

Not by me, but a swallow was spotted at a place called Folly Gate, That is Okehampton in Devon. Sighting was posted with a pic, on the 15th March. Seen this on Devon birds website. Birdwatchers record their sightings on the website. Good place to go to see what is around. It seems a little early. T...

Re: BUTTERFLIES

I saw two Brimstones today in a neighbours garden. I was hoping they would visit me but they flapped off in the other direction. :(

Re: WHAT ELSE I SAW TODAY

I saw a butterfly today. I couldn't get an ID. It was dark in colour so was probably a Red Admiral or a Small Tortoiseshell as both hibernate in the winter in their adult form.
