Late Hibernator
I've had a frog living in my frog bowl all this year and last year - I'm sure it's the same one and he's grown into quite a bruiser! Spotted him earlier this week and again this afternoon with his nose and eyes above the water. Is this unusual, as I thought he should have hibernated well before now,...
Re: FROGS
Thanks Jacksparrow. Will go for the clean-up. Not sure what to do about the resident frog though. Do I just remove the stones he hides under and hope he leaves? Bit worried about scaring him off for good.
Re: FROGS

Re: FROGS

Re: FROGS
Hi Kev. It doesn't show up on the photos but I have built a kind of stairway from flattish stones leading up to water surface. Watched the frog climb up it the other day. Think he spends a lot of time under the stairs as I often see just a leg sticking out.
Re: FROGS
Success! And another.
Re: FROGS
Thanks Kev. Here's a photo of my frog habitat consisting of water feature and plant pot hideaway. Pic of resident frog to follow as he spends a lot of time out of sight.
